2014 – Pictures
Since I’m done with
all the filling up, I decided to share the photos of the process. I didn’t
think I was all that full until I put on a lovely green, low cut dress
yesterday and went “Wow. I’ve got boobs!” Those boobs will be removed soon and
I can’t wait until they are gone. I’ve asked several people who are finished
with their reconstruction about the implants and they all agree that while they
will never look or feel the same as my real ones, they’ll be much softer and
more “life-like” than the turtle shells I now possess.
So now, without
further ado – the progression from after the Mastectomy to yesterday.
First picture is dated April 29, 2014, a couple of days before my
reconstruction surgery. I should have
held the T-shirt closer to me to show that I was concave.
This picture is
dated June 5, the day I went in for my first fill. He filled up the expanders
with 250cc’s of saline during surgery, so you can see a little bit of a bump,
but not much.
This picture is dated June 11 the day before my second fill. I’m at
350cc’s in this picture.
This picture is dated June 19 the day of my third fill. I’m at 450cc’s
in this picture.
This picture is dated July 10. We forgot all about pictures for a
while. Randy was working, so he didn’t get to go with me to the appointments.
My last fill was July 14, so this picture is in between my next to the last and
my last. I’m at 700cc’s in this picture.
Okay, so let’s
forget that I need a new hairdo. Geez, I look like I’ve been through a wind
storm. But this was yesterday, all dressed up in a low cut maxi dress at 775cc’s.
The doctor will
insert an 800cc silicone implant sometime in early August and, since I have
chosen not to have surgical nipples, it should be all done. I’ll get tattoos
about 3 months after the surgery and then this whole process will be over.
Yeah!
Oh my goodness, I
need a haircut!
